An award-winning intermediate level of band that is also the Marching Band Ensemble for OCMA.  Click here to see us in action.  This enthusiastic group competes in several jazz festivals as well as performs throughout the community at venues such as the Seal Beach Christmas Parade, The Lompoc Flower Festival and Tustin Tiller Days and more.  The Director is Mr. Donn Hallman, (714) 222-5079.

Audition requirements:

Play 4 scales with confidence in eighth notes.
Commit to practicing at home a minimum of 2 hours per week.

Required Equipment:
Instrument, solid black music stand, 1” solid black notebook w/sheet protectors.

Essential Elements Book 1 by Hal Leonard.

Required uniform:
White, long-sleeve button-down dress shirt, black slacks, black dress shoes and belt, band-issued blue cummerbund and bow tie ($17/set).
